The head of this congregation – the community of believers – is our Savior, the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. This local Christian church does not belong to any registered religious, associational organization. Congregation – the church answers directly and exclusively to the Lord Jesus Christ, not to any synodal or intercongregational council, nor to the bishop or any other person or body. The formation of church unions (denominations) from a larger number of local congregations under one name is in direct contradiction to the apostolic teaching in the Scriptures of the New Covenant (New Testament) and represents a separation from other Christian believers in the Lord Jesus. This doesn’t mean we do not recognize believers from other churches.
The Bible, the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments in the original languages (Hebrew and Greek), are God-breathed (inspired) revelation, i.e. the supreme and only authority to which every Christian believer should submit. Therefore, we do nothing for which we do not have direct instructions and commands in the Bible. On the contrary, it is our desire and goal to fulfill everything that God commands in the Holy Scriptures.
Everyone who proves his personal relationship of faith to the Savior Jesus Christ, who lives a clean, moral life according to God’s requirements in the Bible, and who does not hold any delusions, belongs and can belong to this local church. Those who belong to the church enjoy all the privileges that God in his love and grace has given to all his children, while at the same time they recognize their responsibility to God and the Lord of the Church and to the local church and submit to congregational education and discipline.
In accordance with God’s instructions and commands in the Scriptures of the New Covenant, the congregation is not divided into “clergy and laity”. According to apostolic teaching and practice, the church is managed by the elders, a collective of older brothers – supervisors, and the preaching of God’s Word is provided by blameless brothers who have a spiritual gift (charisma). The same is true with other services.
